Three rooms of music (Sonos)

We would like to listen to the radio around our home.

The clients, a retired couple living in a modern two bed house, liked to start their day by waking up to Radio Two using their bedside radio alarm clock but wanted to listen to the radio as they moved around their home.

The clients had no interest in having any music system nor speakers custom installed as their home was fully decorated.

They also both owned Apple iPhones.

As the property was fairly small and the construction wasn’t an issue the solution was very simple.  We specified and set-up 3 Sonos S5 music players for the couple.  One was placed near their bed, one in the kitchen and one in the sitting room.

Broadband and a wireless router were also set-up to allow the couple to use the free and easy to use Sonos iPhone App and receive internet radio.

The couple could now select any local or national radio station or even radio stations from other countries using the Sonos App.  The audio was played through high quality devices which sat on the side units.

The couple could also set alarms so that they woke to their favourite radio program.
