I have Sky HD already in one room but want to watch it other rooms.
The client had Sky adequately set up in his lounge. He wanted to also watch Sky in high definition in his bedroom, kitchen and second reception room.
Along with the Sky HD box the client had a Blu-Ray player.
The client was having the electrics in his home re-wired and his electrician was happy to install the necessary audio\visual cabling at the same time.
We provided quality cable of the correct specification to the client’s electrician who installed it perfectly following our simple instructions.
Once the cable had been installed we terminated and tested the cables.
As the client wanted to view video sources in up to four rooms we specified VisionHD’s 4*4 HDMI Matrix switch. This meant any one of four high definition video sources (Sky HD and Blu Ray DVD player) could be watched in one or all of the four rooms around the home.
The matrix switch was placed next to and connected to the existing Sky HD satellite box and Blu-Ray player in the lounge. Small, discreet receiver (baluns) were placed behind the televisions in the kitchen, bedroom and other reception room.
Small Infra-Red (IR) receivers connected to the baluns allowed the client to use existing remote controls to change channels on the sky box and control playback of DVDs from any of the four rooms.
